For me, art is a creative form of personal exploration, expression, and communication. Painting provides
an "immersion": a full and simultaneous engagement in the rational, intuitive, and mechanical processes of
developing an image. The creative act is almost always fully absorbing and satisfying; the product, often
enough.
It is especially rewarding when someone sees something in one of my pieces that prompts them to want to own it.
